Deep Dive: A Thriving Future for Historic Pools and Lidos

Join us for our first event of 2026, which sees us partnering with the Heritage Network and Future Lidos for an online event on Thursday 22 January.  Deep Dive: A Thriving Future for Historic Pools and Lidos will celebrate the unique heritage of Britain’s historic pools and lidos, and explore how we can secure vibrant, sustainable futures for these beloved community spaces.

This will be an energising way to start the New Year as we bring together passionate advocates, heritage experts, pool operators, and community champions to share knowledge, celebrate successes, and chart pathways forward.  Whether you’re involved in saving a local pool, curious about lido culture, or committed to preserving these special spaces, this session will equip you with practical insights, connect you to others working on similar projects, and inspire action.

Running across lunchtime (12.15pm to 2pm), to make it as accessible as possible for as many as possible, there will be short speaker sessions and discussions.
