Team News

The Historic Pools of Britain team is continuing to grow and strengthen. We are delighted to announce that acclaimed writer and editor Simon Inglis has become an Ambassador of Historic Pools of Britain.

Simon brings with him a wealth of experience and enthusiasm, having co-written and edited the Played in Britain series of books about sporting heritage, which were created in conjunction with English Heritage. In particular for historic pools fans Great Lengths, which he co-authored with Dr Ian Gordon, and Liquid Assets, which was written by Janet Smith and edited by Simon, are the go to titles.

From the very beginning Simon has been a champion of Historic Pools of Britain and it means a great deal to all involved that he has agreed to formalise this by becoming an Ambassador. You can read more here.
